About us

Local guides, quiet routes and a proper day out.

We’re four guides who live and work in the Kelder Fells. We’ve walked every ridge, tarn and beck here in all weathers, and we know where to go when the cloud comes down.

Every walk starts at the village hall in Kelderby, where our minibus takes you to the start. No car shuffles, no guessing at the path, and always someone at the back.

Reviews

What walkers say.

★★★★★

Ruth got all eight of us over Kelder Edge in a howling wind and still had us laughing at the top. The best day out we’ve had in years.

I’d always let my husband read the map. After one day with Owen I took us round the tarns myself, and only went wrong once.

The Two Dales Weekend was perfect: proper walking, a roaring fire at the inn and someone else carrying our bags.
